The Peppermint Oil Store is proud to be committed to reducing the environmental impact of packaging through the use of smarter packaging, recycling, reusing and reducing waste.
Our core packaging suppliers are Australian businesses and are signatories to the Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO), a not for profit organisation that works with government and industry to reduce the impact of packaging on the environment.
About our packaging and how to recycle:
Plastic and Glass Bottles
All of our plastic and glass containers are recyclable and when empty can be placed into your recycle bin.
Fully recyclable and made from 100% recycled material. Re-use or place cartons into your recycle bin.
Honeycomb Wrapping Paper
Environmentally friendly, disposable and recyclable paper and tissue interleaf used to cushion and protect products during transport. A completely plastic free cushioning solution compared with bubble wrap. Place into your recycle bin.
Void fill is used to protect items, reduce movement and risk of damage during transport. We use environmentally friendly BioFill which is manufactured from renewable, natural corn starch and is compostable. Place into your compost bin.
Australia Post Satchels
Australia Post satchels are now fully recyclable when deposited in a REDcycle collection bin.
REDcycle drop off bins are available in more than 1,800 major supermarkets across Australia to recycle your plastic mailing satchels. Find your closest drop off point here.
For more information on the REDcycle program visit the website.
We are committed to the Reuse, Reduce and Recycle philosophy with a focus on minimising the consumption of energy, resources and packaging.
Re-Use – Where appropriate, we re-use packaging within our own workplace. We do not send re-use packaging to customers.
Reduce - Appropriate size boxes are chosen for each order to minimise wasted space with the perfect shaped carton for your products.
Recycle - Cardboard, paper and plastic products are all sent to the appropriate recycling systems.
